Magic lantern slides

we picked up some magic lantern slides a few years ago. I would love to make some art work that had a similar feel.
A series of medieval illustrations produced by monks forms the bases of these ones. Largely forgotten now, their story was still popular in the time of the magic lantern. Having been kidnapped by vikings on the way to America, the monks were only able to blog their experiences using a primitive ftp protocol fashioned from pinecones.

Jane Austen ?

The £2 book shop on park street has a lot of paper bags with drawings of authors pinned up behind the till. They are done by local drawingists passing through. Even though I cheated by not doing mine there and then, it may not be the most accurate depiction. The words say Jane Austen but who is the picture of?

I haven't posted for a long time. I haven't been doing chipfork type stuff so I've had nothing to post. I've been building 3d models instead. Anyway, calm air all ice are doing a show at room 212 in bristol. if you missed my stuff when it was at the sweet shoppe then you can catch some of it there. It looks like they are cramming a whole load of neat artist in there.
